FDR Presidential Library and Museum

Hyde Park, NY

The library of our longest-serving president has been a long-standing client of ours. Over the years we’ve created many temporary exhibits, each with a unique multimedia design. Then, for the Library’s first-ever major renovation, we once again were asked to create the multimedia programs, this time for the entire museum.

World in Crisis

This immersive theater experience introduces visitors to the complex state of the world in 1932 as FDR sought the presidency. The fractured visual treatment and graphics convey the rapidly disintegrating political and economic situation of those times.

Legacy

Written and narrated by President Bill Clinton, Legacy shows the far-reaching influence of a president who led the country through some of its darkest days.

Fireside Chats

In two immersive spaces, a kitchen and a living room, visitors sit by a period radio to listen to selections from FDR’s famous Fireside Chats. Visitors can also hear excerpts from letters written to FDR in response to his chats.

FDR & Polio

FDR was a fiercely private person, but those closest to him said that his fight against the crippling effects of polio had a profound impact on his character and his life. This short program provides rare insight into how one of our nation’s greatest presidents overcame a personal challenge that could have ended his political career.
