Fort Point's West Bastion is a raw space,
intended for artillery.
Through projection mapping,
Monadnock created a dramatic theater.
Using a lidar scan, we created a 3D model.
By placing a virtual projector within the model
we mapped live action footage
onto the brick walls
and added visual "set dressing"
to complete the scene.
Adding lights to the simulation allowed us
to rough in lighting effects in sync with the program.
On site, the completed shows give visitors an introduction
to the people of Fort Point.
